Camouflage Karate School was opened by Master Khoury Johnson in 1993. Master Johnson's goal is to share what he has learned from all the different style martial arts he study, along with the great wisdom of his instructors and there unique teaching styles of martial arts. Master Johnson teaching is combined with a variety of concepts and techniques from traditional martial arts with a unique, holistic approach to physical and mental well-being. This innovative style of Karate draws upon the best aspects of other forms of marital arts.
Camouflage Karate School teaches a free style of karate - a sport and a modern art that very effectively prepares the student for street self-defense situations. We participate in competitions and tournaments around the country. We emphasize student sportsmanship, and develop physical and mental endurance. We stress the importance of respect inside and outside the school. Students are taught to demonstrate respect towards instructors and instructors treat students with respect. Operating under formal rules of etiquette, our school fosters a positive atmosphere for learning. That’s why we produce world class champions out of our students
At Camouflage we care about safety that’s why our entire staff is certified in CPR and First Aid. Each year our instructor must take a refresher course in order to instruct any of our classes. We also require them to present a police clearance and be TB tested.
