Debugging: Residential


Whether you have an apartment, condo or house, there may be hidden cameras, audio transmitters or recording  devices installed by your neighbor, landlord, or husband / wife, boyfriend or girlfriend! 


All eavesdropping devices emit heat. A video camera can be hidden in anything, including a clock radio, but it shows up clearly on our infrared camera.


If there is an eavesdropping device in your home, our residential debugging sweep will locate it. The plus sweep includes the use of a spectrum analyzer. Normally, we do not use a spectrum analyzer as it takes many hours, incurring unnecessary additional costs for our clients. A spectrum analyzer analyzes virtually EVERY radio transmission in the area, including the many commercial radio and television stations, police radios, aircraft, taxis, cell phones, as well as eavesdropping devices. Also, spectrum analyzers cannot detect recorders, microphones, anything hardwired, fiber optics, passive resonators, and inactive remote-controlled dormant devices


Pricing for a TSCM Survey will vary by the scope, size and threat level for each sweep. Before Camouflage offers a direct quote a thorough discussion of your concerns and vulnerabilities will be required.

Debugging Vehicles


Let one of our Camouflage Investigator debugging specialist sweep your car, boat, or plane for electronic eavesdropping devices. Our technicians have the experience and the latest equipment to confirm your suspicions.

Using our TSCM equipment, our decades of experience debugging vehicles, and a thorough physical search, our experts will sweep the entire radio spectrum for clandestine transmitters, hidden microphones, wireless video cameras, voice recorders, and phone taps. We use some of the same equipment as the U.S. government. If debugging devices have been placed in your vehicle, will find them and neutralize them.

A “passive” GPS devices has to be retrieved later and all the places the car has been will show up in a map on a computer. An “active” GPS device will show where the car is at the moment. It uses a cell phone frequency to tell a computer where the car is in real-time.

Our expert TSCM services team has the experience and the equipment to seek out and dismantle bugs-the only thing we do. We offer a free consultation by phone or email. Using state-of-the-art electronic countermeasures equipment, applied trade-craft, and a thorough physical search, our experts will sweep the entire radio spectrum for clandestine transmitters, hidden microphones, wireless video cameras, voice recorders, and phone taps. We use the same equipment as the U.S. government. If electronic devices have been placed in your home, office, business, or vehicle, the Investigative Camouflage Investigation Technical Division will locate them and neutralize them. Offices, Conference Rooms, Businesses The basic sweep is identical to our more expensive sweep, except that it doesn’t use a spectrum analyzer. Any Computer Forensics work needed will be billed at a Flat Rate starting at $475.00 per computer for up to 5 Hours. Any additional computer work beyond the first 5 Hours will be billed at $75.00 per Hour. (With client’s approval)


Threat Adjustment to Prices

When we discuss our clients sweep requirements, we may take into account the threat level. This is to say a company that has a possible threat of espionage from another company or individual may be faced with a different threat to that of a residential property that may have been bugged by a family member or partner.

We will discuss the threat with the client, and with the agreement of the client we may adjust our level of counter surveillance sweep accordingly and this may be reflected in the cost.

General Information

Hourly billing rate for additional consultation, report writing or technical research - $150

Expenses
Mileage - $0.485 per mile (IRS Standard Mileage Rate)
Airfare, Lodging and Meals – actual expenses verified by receipts.

 Payment
Terms for all work is strictly by retainer in advance unless otherwise indicated. Upon approval; corporate and government clients may pay 50% in advance, and the balance upon presentation of the final report or briefing.

All International clients requires 100% payment in advance.

Payment is accepted via cash, corporate or government check, certified bank check, business check, cashier’s check, money order, or wire transfer.

Cancellation of a scheduled TSCM service will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the estimated fee with a minimum of $2,000.
